VIDEO ART
In the videoART section we present a collection of artistic films by young authors from Poland and Germany. Here you will find traditional stop-motion animation, video art utilising the photographic medium and 3D modelling technology, as well as more experimental forms that are the result of the artists' explorations of image and sound. The selected works deal with contemporary reality, with the artist's intimate, subjective space, and their open form allows for a liberal interpretation on the recipient's part.

The computer is dust free, charged and ready. Ritual completed. The searching for “Fulfillment” starts. BREATH feels ignored because of HUMAN’S favorite electronic tool and starts to complain about HUMAN’s priorities. Remembering all its capabilities, BREATH reaches out to HUMAN for the last time...

Two years ago I accidentally stumbled upon an old book about bizarre cases from the 19th century. Something that strongly contributed to the ghostly spirits of this collection was the presence of damaged old black-and-white photo inbetween the pages, with the barely distinguishable face of a young girl. On the back was a sentence which I couldn't make sense of. The only thing I could recognize was a name – Nicole.

“[ ]” is a collaborative work of Till Gombert (director & editing), Jason Stewart (camera & editing] and Roland Altmann (sound). Motionless Moving Images of photographic character like those of a large format camera, held in an almost documentary style, are constantly broken by a editing associative illustrations of magic Romanticism and architectural Modernism. A very silent crackle comes out of the woods, almost unheard. Is there still magic in this 21st century? A hunt for the unknown in today's world.
