Werner Herzog
German director and screenwriter, distinguished author valued all around the world. At 21 he started his own film studio – Werner Herzog Filmproduktion. For “Signs of Life” (1968) he has been awarded the Golden Bear in Berlin, and “Wake for Galileo” (2005) has brought him the FIPRESCI award at the Venice IFF. Many filmmakers have been inspired by Herzog's content-rich films.
