Freja Andersson
Swedish-Finnish filmmaker and artist born in 1985. She uses the film medium a canvas for her poetic experimental documentary films, trying to initiate stories in the mind of the viewer. She has a MFA from Stockholm University of the Arts and has worked and studied in several countries. Her works have been presented in at international film festivals but also at art exhibitions, theater performances and in other physical spaces.

Hundred years have passed since the beginning of World War 1, 75 years since the beginning of World War II. In a world where the ongoing conflicts are shielded away from the European adults and youths who never experienced war, there arise questions of whose wars we remember and tell stories about. The sordid images of repelling bunkers which the author uses situate these war stories far away from pop-culture adventures.
